Three-Level Speed Warning and Limiting System for Forklifts
I. Warning Speed Levels and Response Mechanisms
Level 1 Warning
Default speed threshold: 8 km/h
Trigger condition: When the vehicle speed exceeds this value
System response: Visual and audible alarm activates with flashing lights.
Level 2 Warning
Default speed threshold: 10 km/h
Trigger condition: When the vehicle speed exceeds this value
System response: Visual and audible alarm activates with both flashing lights and a "ding-dong" sound warning.
Level 3 Warning
Default speed threshold: 12 km/h
Trigger condition: When the vehicle speed exceeds this value
System response:
Visual and audible alarm activates with flashing lights
"Overspeed, please slow down" voice alert is issued
Main unit outputs throttle control signal to limit speed through electronic or mechanical throttle controllers
Vehicle speed is restricted within the Level 3 warning speed range
II. Speed Limiting Mode
When the vehicle exceeds the preset Level 3 warning speed, the system immediately issues the "Overspeed, please note!" voice alert and outputs throttle control signals. Through electronic or mechanical throttle controllers, the system restricts the vehicle's speed within the preset Level 3 warning range, preventing further acceleration.
III. Locking Mode
If the vehicle speed continuously exceeds the preset Level 3 warning speed for 5 seconds, the system activates locking mode:
Continuously outputs warning signals and throttle control signals
Main unit issues "Overspeed, please note!" voice alert
Vehicle becomes locked in idle state and cannot accelerate normally
Only administrators can release the alarm lock using the remote control's unlock button
IV. Summary
Forklift speed limiter utilizes a three-level speed warning mechanism that combines visual/audible alerts, voice prompts, and throttle control to provide graded responses to overspeed situations. The speed limiting mode controls vehicle speed in real-time, while the locking mode forcibly intervenes in continuous overspeed cases to ensure safety. Administrators can flexibly manage vehicle status via remote control, enhancing operational safety and controllability.
The default thresholds for each warning level can be customized according to operational requirements.
